OUR MISSION
The Veteran suicide rate is 22 a day.
We're on a mission to change that.
Since the 9/11 attacks, suicide has claimed the lives of nearly 30,000 veterans. That is four times higher than those lost to combat in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
Due to the stigma surrounding mental health, and complications that can arise from a PTS diagnosis, many of these warriors suffer in silence and never reach out for help.
Brothers Keeper seeks to change that.
This documentary, created by and for veterans, shares the powerful, personal stories of veterans who are fighting through post-traumatic stress, suicidal ideation, and military transition.
By having an honest, open conversation about the struggles that veterans often quietly endure, Brothers Keeper aims to break the silence and the stigma surrounding veterans’ mental health issues and put an end to the suicide epidemic plaguing our nation’s warriors.
